Kids in the Community
We believe kids are an important part of our community, not just for who they will grow up to be but for who they are today. Each one is a wonderfully unique creation. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). A kid's job is to be curious, try new things, make new friends, and have fun. Children need a safe, nurturing, and interesting environment to do this job well. At Ripon Free Methodist, we partner with parents and families to help kids explore the love of God and learn the life skills they need to grow up strong and healthy in mind, body, and spirit!
For the safety of our children, we kindly ask that parents read and observe our Childcare Policies prior to participating in our youth and children's programs.
During the 11am Sunday service, children in grades K-5 participate in games and activities that teach scriptural life lessons.
Infants and children ages 0 through 5 years have fun together during Sunday School and the 11am worship service.
In Scouting, youth ages 6-11 participate in adventurous activities and service projects that teach them valuable skills for life.
